Nikki Allan was lured to her death in a derelict warehouse 300 yards from her family's home, where she was stabbed 37 times in the chest and dumped in the basement.

After a trial at Newcastle Crown Court 30 years later, neighbour David Boyd, 55, who was dating Nikki's babysitter, was found guilty of her murder.
