Eight years ago Boko Haram insurgents attacked and killed civilians in Ngarannam in northern Nigeria's Borno State. Survivors were forced to flee. The town was left in ruins until the local government, with support from aid agencies, rebuilt and reopened it. Now six months after people returned, women are playing a major role in their newly rebuilt community. The UN flew in DW's Amaka Okoye to find out more.
