Nigerian President Mohammadu Buhari has replaced his top military commanders after months of pressure over the worsening security situation in the country.
The Senate demanded the chiefs be sacked in July after hundreds of people were killed in attacks.
Buhari came to office in 2015 promising to fix the security situation.
But Nigeria is still fighting various armed groups and lawlessness in several parts of the country.

Al Jazeera’s Ahmed Idris reports from Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
