The NHS is rolling out a new initiative to try and catch liver cancer earlier, in communities considered to be high-risk.

The mobile 'liver trucks' will offer quick, non-invasive scans and they are expected to visit and scan 22,000 people.

Currently, only one in three liver cancers is diagnosed at an early stage, but it is hoped the new programme will help catch more cancers earlier.
