NHS strikes: 'I'd rather die at home than die in hospital'

Junior doctors in England are on the third day of their six-day walkout, the longest in NHS history.

The strikes have increased the strain on the health service.

Edwin Green, 72, was told there would be an 18-hour wait to be seen by a doctor after he was rushed to Salford Hospital while suffering from breathing problems.

He told Sky News that during the wait he'd thought, "I'd rather die at home than die in hospital".
