The NHL is starting up again – but in January.

The January start date is a big change for fans in 2021, and the league has introduced new rules to keep players and staff safe from COVID-19.

But, before the first puck even dropped, the virus has already sidelined a number of players.

And as Mike Drolet reports, fans aren't exactly experiencing hockey fever.
