Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg has thanked the jury in the Donald Trump's trial, the staff and witnesses that took part.

White collar prosecutions of this type are "core" to the DA's office he said, and had been since the 1930s.

The prosecution team embodied the "finest traditions of this office" and were "model public servants", he said.
