British Prime Minister Liz Truss outlined her top priorities after taking over the role from Boris Johnson on Tuesday.

Truss said she would cut taxes and “drive business-led growth and investment” as her first priority. As part of this first priority, the new prime minister said her government would start construction on hospitals, roads and schools and lay fibre optic cable for high-speed broadband internet.

Truss said her government would immediately deal with the energy crisis, adding that she would take action this week to “deal with energy bills” and secure the U.K’s future energy supply.

Lastly, Truss said her government would improve patient access within the health-care system, ensuring that people are able “to get doctors appointments and the NIH services they need.”
