US President Joe Biden is marking a sharp change in course after four years of Donald Trump.
Some are questioning how that shift will play out for Israel and Palestine.
Biden administration officials have already said they will not undo the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital, or the moving of the US embassy, but they are signalling a departure from Trump's complete support for Israeli interests.
