The second round of defense talks between Pakistan and the US is starting today in Washington

According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, the second round of defense talks will continue until February 16 in Washington DC. The first round of talks was held in January 2021 in Pakistan.

Headed by the Chief of General Staff, Pakistan's international delegation consists of senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Joint Staff Headquarters and three service headquarters.

The Foreign Office says that the US multi-agency team will be represented by the Under Secretary of Defense Office, and bilateral defense and security cooperation issues will be discussed during the defense talks.
