Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is scheduled to hold a closing press conference on Wednesday on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Earlier Wednesday, Trudeau sat down with Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelenskyy, a day after the foreign leader blasted the alliance for failing to extend a clear invite to his country.
On Monday, Trudeau pledged to double its NATO-mandated deployment in Latvia with up to 1,200 more troops to try to secure the vulnerable Baltic region against any Russian aggression.
