During a news conference among NATO leaders in the Netherlands on Tuesday, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said the alliance must strengthen their readiness, military equipment, and supplies.

“I look forward to welcoming the President Zelenskyy to address NATO's leaders at our summit in Madrid. In response to Russia's invasion we have reinforced our ability to protect and defend every inch of NATO's allied territory in Madrid. We will take the next steps and agree a major strengthening of our posture. Tonight we discussed the need for more robust and combat-ready forward presence, even higher readiness and more pre-positioned equipment and supplies,” Stoltenberg said.

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said, “We have not done enough to defend Ukraine, to support Ukrainian people, to defend their freedom and sovereignty are so dangerous for all of us. And this is why we have to fight. That's why I urge you, I ask you to do much more to deliver weapons, and artillery to Ukraine."
