Nasa chiefs have said they hope to launch its new Moon rocket, the Space Launch System, later this week.
The Artemis 1 mission blast off was postponed at first after controllers struggled to get an engine on the 100m-tall vehicle cooled down to its correct operating temperature.
It is the biggest rocket ever developed by Nasa and in time will be used to send astronauts back to the Moon.
Nasa administrator Bill Nelson said the brand new rocket would not fly "until it is ready".
