Actor Anupam Kher said the Congress party is becoming a "disaster". "We must admit what a disaster the Congress is becoming," he told NDTV during a discussion on his political leaning. "My political leaning is towards a better India," the actor said. "If Congress has amazing leaders, I will certainly admire them. We have admired Jawaharlal Nehru, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Indira Gandhi and PV Narashimha Rao. Similarly, I see a great leader in Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the Congress, Milind Deora and Shashi Tharoor are great leaders," Anupam Kher said.
