In a change from the usual thongs 'n' sports bras favored by many American gym bunnies, Houston based Ahlam Mohammad Ali chooses to do her high-impact workouts wearing traditional Muslim dress, including the niqab face covering.

While the unorthodox fitness gear might look difficult to train in, Ahlam insists that the niqab doesn't limit her in any way, and has taken to TikTok to show other Muslim women that you can dress modestly and still do what makes you happy.
