On the first day of the weekend lockdown imposed in Maharashtra amid a surge in COVID-19 cases, streets wore a deserted look in Mumbai. The important junctions across the city are being manned by the police to enforce the lockdown. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has called for an all-party meet to discuss the way ahead.
