Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has said the Mumbai rape case trial will be handled by a fast track court. A 34-year-old woman, who was raped and tortured, died this morning at a Mumbai hospital. In a vile assault that bore a disturbing similarity to the 2012 Delhi gangrape case, police found the woman in a pool of blood in the Sakinaka area of suburban Mumbai last week. One accused, 45-year-old Mohan Chouhan, has been arrested and sent to police custody till September 21.
