Montreal mother shares moment she realized son was killed in Israel by Hamas: “We just crumbled”

The family of a Canadian man killed in Israel has a devastating story to tell.

33-year-old Montreal man Alexandre Look was on holiday in Israel when his life was tragically cut short by a surprise attack from Hamas militants.

Dan Spector spoke with Look's grieving mother, Raquel Ohnana, about the heartwrenching moment she realized her son had been murdered and the support her family is receiving from their community.

A day later, a friend who survived the attack in the bunker told the family that Look had “acted as a shield” at the doorway of the shelter, confronting a Hamas fighter who was trying to get inside.
