The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued orange alert over heavy rainfall in Himachal Pradesh on 26 July and 27 July. With this, there is possibility of floods in rivers. The IMD has asked people to remain indoors.  At the same time, according to the IMD, rain activities will increase in the plains and mountainous areas of North India from today.
