हरिद्वार में भारी बारिश के बाद गंगा नदी उफान पर है. यहां कल सूखी नदी में जलस्तर बढ़ने से कारें तैरती नजर आई. दरअसल यहां नदी के रपटे पर कारों को खड़ा किया था, तभी अचानक नदी का जलस्तर बढ़ गया. और कारें नाव की तरह तैरने लगी. अचानक आए उफान के चलते कारें बहकर हरकी पैड़ी पहुंच गई. गंगा में खिलौनों की तरह तैर रही गाड़ियों को देखने के लिए हुजूम लग गया. एसडीआरएफ की टीमों ने गाड़ियों का बाहर निकाला। उधर सुरेश्वरी मंदिर में फंसे 200 श्रद्धालुओं को रेस्क्यू चलाकर सुरक्षित निकाला गया. पुलिस ने राफ्ट के जरिए श्रद्धालुओं को निकाला।

Actually, the cars were parked on the river ford, when suddenly the water level of the river increased. And the cars started floating like boats. Due to the sudden surge, the cars got washed away and reached Har Ki Pauri. A crowd gathered to see the cars floating like toys in the Ganga. SDRF teams pulled out the cars. On the other hand, 200 devotees trapped in Sureshwari temple were rescued safely. Police rescued the devotees through rafts.
