Moldovans will go back to the polls in a runoff after no candidate scored the needed majority in Sunday's presidential election.
Opposition leader Maia Sandu finished slightly ahead of incumbent Igor Dodon.
The country has been divided between those who favour closer ties with the European Union and those who are pro-Russian.
