MLB including Negro Leagues stats will 'enhance baseball history,' Ferguson Jenkins says

Major League Baseball is incorporating statistics from the early Negro Leagues into its official record books. Hall of Fame Canadian pitcher Ferguson Jenkins — whose father played for an all-Black baseball team in Ontario — hopes these additions will spur young athletes to learn more about baseball players from that era.
