More than 50 hours after she went missing in British Columbia’s Golden Ears Park, a teenage girl has found her way out of the park on her own.
Esther Wang, 16, was reported missing after being separated from her group on Tuesday afternoon.
“She’s healthy, happy and with her family,” Supt. Wendy Mehat with Ridge Meadows RCMP told media Friday morning.
Police said Wang was very fatigued but thankfully unharmed, other than some mosquito bites.
Travis Prasad has more on what we know so far about how she made it out and the difficult terrain she had to navigate.
