Despite how well it is going in the United Kingdom there are concerns about why fewer Black and minority healthcare workers are getting the vaccine, compared with their colleagues.
At some British hospitals, only a quarter of Black staff members have gotten the jab.
The government says it cannot force people to have the jab but what it can do is tackle some of the myths surrounding the vaccine including that it contains pork or can alter people’s DNA - and that means reaching out to different communities and reshaping the narrative to help people make the right decision.
