The Policing Minister has defended the Metropolitan Police commissioner following clashes at Sarah Everard's vigil on Clapham Common.

Mr Malthouse said the scenes were "distressing" and "alarming" but insisted Cressida Dick should not resign over the events.

Meanwhile, he defended the AstraZeneca vaccine after numerous European countries suspended its use over clotting concerns.
