Congress MP Rahul Gandhi today launched the party's Bharat Jodo Yatra (unite India march) from Kanyakumari. The campaign is being seen as the early days of the Congress's strategy for the 2024 national elections. Mr Gandhi targeted the BJP and its ideological mentor RSS during a speech at the launch of the cross-country march. "India is not the imposition of one idea on its people. India is the history, language and culture of every single person. India is the institutions that protect this flag (national flag)...India is the judiciary that protects this flag. Today, every single institution is under attack from BJP and RSS. They think this flag is their personal property," Mr Gandhi said.
