Chinese and North Korean actors are “likely” to target upcoming elections in the United States, India and South Korea, a new report from Microsoft finds.
The computer giant’s security research group warns the two countries’ cyber and influence abilities are growing.

The report suggests groups linked to China will use AI-generated photos to mislead and stoke conspiratorial content – particularly against the U.S. government.
