Mexico remote schooling 'failing' with mass dropouts

Some students in Mexico are going back to class - ending one of the longest school closures because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The government had ordered remote education with televised teaching sessions.

But experts say the programme has failed because many children do not have access to the internet or television, and some have to go work with their parents to support the family.


Al Jazeera spoke to a teacher in the Mexican state of Guerrero.
