Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg will deliver a keynote address on Wednesday at the company's annual showcase of the virtual, mixed and AI technologies of the future.

During the event in California, there will be updates on the Quest 3 headset, AI chatbots and the arrival of legs in the Horizon virtual worlds app, which is starting to roll out on mobile and desktop.

Meta’s revenue last year was about $117 billion, or about $320 million a day.

Canada’s Online News Act, part of a global trend to make internet giants pay for news, became law in June and is expected to come into effect in December after rules are finalized. Meta ended news sharing on its platforms in Canada last month.
