Met Police is in a 'bad place'

HM Inspector of the Constabulary Matt Parr says the Met Police is in a "bad place" and there has been a "reluctance to accept" the scale of its problems.

He added: "It is well documented that public trust in the Met is at a low and we've got the Met in quote, special measures, as it sometimes called.

"So I think there is widespread recognition there is an awful lot to be done."
