It’s mental health week in Canada. The 70 year annual tradition held by the Canadian Mental Health Association, is dedicated to celebrating, protecting and promoting mental health.
Experts say raising awareness has become even more important during the pandemic. According to a survey released by the CMHA in late January, 77% of Canadians reported feeling negative emotions and 41% saw a decline in their mental health during the pandemic.
