A US medical company once owned by Martin Shkreli has agreed to pay $40m to settle allegations of price gouging.
But Shkreli is standing trial in New York on related charges.
The former hedge fund manager gained notoriety in 2015 after he hiked the price of a lifesaving drug from $17 a tablet to a whopping $750.

Al Jazeera’s Rosiland Jordan reports from Washington, DC.
