The Swiss drugmaker Roche’s race to join the likes of Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly in the booming obesity treatment market appears to be taking shape. Roche said its weight-loss drug delivered almost 19% weight loss in early trials. Swetha Ramachandran from Artemis gave her verdict on whether it can compete effectively in this space.
