Marelle Sturrock: Parents 'devastated' after death of daughter and grandchild

The parents of Marelle Sturrock have released a statement after their daughter was found dead, along with her unborn child in Glasgow, saying she was "the happiest person you could ever meet".

Police also recovered and identified the body of her partner, David Yates, who was found in the Mugdock Reservoir a few days later.

Speaking about the couple, Ms Sturrock's parents said they "doted on each other" and that "this incident came as a total shock".
