Manchester Mayor says the government is 'flailing' on the cost of living crisis

Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham has accused the government of "flailing around and blaming the public" for the spiralling cost of living crisis.

He also told parents and pupils at a school in Wigan that now could be a good time for a Universal Basic Income to be brought in.
