New details are emerging about a threat to politicians on the campaign trail in Newfoundland and Labrador.

RCMP have arrested a man they say intended to kill or seriously injure incumbent premier and Liberal party leader Andrew Furey and other local candidates.

The suspect led police on a high-speed chase which ended with a disturbing discovery. Ross Lord reports.
