Not everyone evacuated flood-affected villages in Malaysia this week.
Relief shelters are not good options for some Malays, while others have altered their homes in an attempt to handle the more frequent flooding.
Officials have said the rainfall in some parts areas on Sunday was the highest since 1967, but no official estimate of the damage caused by the floodwaters has been released yet.
