The choir of the premier Madras Christian College has released a beautiful rendition of Tamil Thai Vazhtu, the state song of Tamil Nadu. Penned by Manonmaniam Sundaranar and published in 1891, recently the Tamil Nadu government had made singing of this song mandatory at government functions and in educational institutions.
