1177 villages in the area and a population of thousands have been badly affected, especially in Shivpuri and Sheopur districts. The biggest center of flood-rain is Shivpuri district of MP, where 1100 villages have been affected.  The administration is constantly engaged in relief and rescue work regarding floods and rains. Army has also been called after NDRF and SDRF.
