DCI Nicola Evans, deputy senior investigating officer at Cheshire Constabulary, has been speaking outside Manchester Crown Court following the verdict in the Lucy Letby trial.

She said: "I cannot begin to imagine how the families in this case feel today. I just hope that today's verdicts bring all of them some peace of mind for the future and that we have answered some of the questions that they were looking for."
