Long working hours, poor conditions, and often many days away from home - these are just some of the reasons why fewer and fewer people want to become truck drivers. This has also led to supply bottlenecks in the EU, as is currently the case in Great Britain, where long queues form in front of petrol stations or shelves in supermarkets remain empty. Many EU countries are looking for truckers. Germany, too, is currently missing 80,000 drivers.
