Local election results will be "very complex"

The local elections in May are likely to have a "very complex set of results", a pollster has told Sky News.

Conservative peer Lord Hayward said the electorate can be "volatile" and it "won't be very easy to determine who the winners are".

He said the problems for Conservatives "get bigger" as each week goes on but he expects a General Election to be in October or November.
