Live update: Israeli troops stationed at border with the Gaza strip

Israel has pounded the Gaza Strip for a ninth day in a row as the besieged Palestinian enclave faces a growing humanitarian catastrophe.
An Israeli army spokesperson has renewed orders for Palestinians in northern Gaza – where some 1.1 million people live – to flee south, raising fears that an Israeli ground operation is imminent.
Israel says as many as 300,000 Israeli troops are amassed near Gaza and are getting ready for war with Hamas.
