Taj mahal : मनीष गुप्ता/ आगरा : यूपी के आगरा जिले में विश्व प्रसिद्ध इमारत ताजमहल पर कुर्की का खतरा मंडरा रहा है. अगर वो समय पर हाउसटैक्स नहीं चुका पाता है तो यह कार्रवाई की जा सकती है. ताजमहल पर 1.47 लाख रुपये का गृह कर का एएसआई को नोटिस दिया गया है. विश्व धरोहर ताजमहल से गृह कर वसूली का नोटिस आगरा नगर निगम की ओर से जारी किया गया है. निगम ने 1.47 लाख रुपये का गृह कर चुकाने का ये नोटिस 15 दिन पहले दिया है. पहली बार गृह कर का नोटिस पाकर भारतीय पुरातत्व विभाग (एएसआई) के अफसर भी हैरत में हैं. इस नोटिस में 31 मार्च 2022 तक ताज महल के बकाया हाउस टैक्स का नोटिस दिया गया है. नोटिस में 88,784 रुपये गृह कर और 47943 रुपये ब्याज दर्शाया गया है.

New Delhi: The world’s popular tourist and heritage site, Taj Mahal has been issued a notice of property tax and water bills worth Rs 1 crore from Agra Municipal Corporation. This is the first time when the hertiage site in its over three-century history got property tax and water tax notice. According to officials of the ASI, a notice for water tax and one for property tax has been issued.The ASI has been asked to pay around Rs 1.40 lakh and Rs 1 crore as property and water tax. Another heritage Itmad-ud-Daulah has also been issued property and water tax notice.

ASI has been instructed to pay any outstanding debts within the next 15 days; else, the Taj Mahal would be "attached" if the tax is not paid on time. The notice also contains interest for prior tax obligations that were unpaid.
