U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra holds a news conference with Republican and Democratic senators to announce new funding for investment in community mental health facilities. The funding was appropriated as part of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act which seeks to identify ways to keep guns out of the hands of unstable individuals before they commit a violent crime.
