Constellation Energy, the largest operator of US nuclear power plants, has been a top earner in the S&P 500 this year. The Baltimore, Maryland-based company is widely viewed by investors as well positioned to benefit from rising demand for carbon-free energy for data centers amid the generative AI boom, and for industries in the process of electrification, including transportation.
