Judges from the International Court of Justice (ICJ) will hand down an interim ruling on Friday regarding South Africa's genocide case against Israel. The ruling will not deal with the core accusation of the case as to whether or not Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. Instead, the Friday ruling will focus on nine "provisional measures" sought by South Africa to end the human suffering while the court hears the case in full, which could take years. The court is set to issue its ruling at 1 p.m. in The Hague (1200 UTC).
