उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने राज्य के गैर मान्यता प्राप्त मदरसों में मूलभूत सुविधाओं की स्थिति जांचने के लिए उनका सर्वेक्षण कराने का फैसला किया.इसके साथ ही सरकार ने मदरसों की बेहतरी के लिए कई और कदम भी उठाए हैं. इसमें मृतक आश्रित कोटे से मिलने वाली दिक्तों को दूर किया गया है. महिला कर्मचारियों के लिए मातृत्व अवकाश और बच्चों के देखभाल के लिए अवकाश की व्यवस्था और ट्रांसफर प्रमुख हैं.

राज्य के अल्पसंख्यक कल्याण राज्य मंत्री दानिश आजाद अंसारी ने बताया कि राज्य सरकार ने मदरसों में छात्र-छात्राओं को मूलभूत सुविधाओं की उपलब्धता के सिलसिले में राष्ट्रीय बाल अधिकार संरक्षण आयोग की अपेक्षा के मुताबिक, प्रदेश के सभी गैर मान्यता प्राप्त मदरसों का सर्वेक्षण कराने का फैसला किया है. इसे जल्द ही शुरू किया जाएगा.

उन्होंने बताया कि सर्वेक्षण में मदरसे का नाम, उसका संचालन करने वाली संस्था का नाम, मदरसा निजी या किराए के भवन में चल रहा है इसकी जानकारी, मदरसे में पढ़ रहे छात्र-छात्राओं की संख्या, पेयजल, फर्नीचर, विद्युत आपूर्ति तथा शौचालय की व्यवस्था, शिक्षकों की संख्या, मदरसे में लागू पाठ्यक्रम, मदरसे की आय का स्रोत और किसी गैर सरकारी संस्था से मदरसे की संबद्धता से संबंधित सूचनाएं इकट्ठा की जाएंगी.
