आज 26 जनवरी को पूरा देश गणतंत्र दिवस के जश्न में डूबा हुआ है. इस मौके पर राजधानी दिल्ली के कर्तव्यपथ पर थल सेना ने अपनी भव्य परेड की तो एयर फोर्स और नेवी ने भी अपनी ताकत दिखाई. नेवी का लंबी दूरी का निगरानी और पनडुब्बी रोधी युद्धक विमान IL-38 इसका प्रमुख आकर्षण रहा. नेवी के इस विमान ने कर्तव्य पथ पर अपना पहला और आखिरी फ्लाईपास्ट किया.IL-38 ने 45 वर्षों तक भारतीय नौसेना में शामिल होकर देश की सेवा की है. यह 50 विमानों के उस दल का हिस्सा रहा जिन्होंने गणतंत्र दिवस पर राजधानी में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में हिस्सा लिया.

The Navy's long-range surveillance and anti-submarine warfare aircraft IL-38 was a major attraction. This Navy aircraft did its first and last flypast on the path of duty. IL-38 has served the country by joining the Indian Navy for 45 years. It was part of a group of 50 aircraft that took part in the program organized in the capital on Republic Day.
