कांग्रेस नेता सलमान खुर्शीद ने ऐसा बयान दिया है, जिससे विवाद हो गया है. खुर्शीद ने राहुल गांधी (Rahul Gandhi) की तुलना भगवान राम (Lord Ram) से की है और कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं को भरत बताया है. न्यूज एजेंसी ANI के मुताबिक खुर्शीद ने कहा- भगवान राम की खड़ाऊ बहुत दूर तक जाती है. कभी-कभी जब राम जी नहीं पहुंच पाते तो भरत खड़ाऊ लेकर जगह-जगह जाते हैं. ऐसे ही हम यूपी में खड़ाऊ लेकर आए हैं. अब खड़ाऊ आ गई है तो राम जी भी आएंगे.
खुर्शीद ने कहा- "राहुल गांधी एक योगी की तपस्या की तरह अपने मिशन पर फोकस कर रहे हैं. राहुल गांधी एक सुपर ह्यूमन हैं जबकि हम ठंड में ठिठुर रहे हैं और जैकेट पहन रहे हैं, वह (अपनी भारत जोड़ो यात्रा के लिए) हाफ टी-शर्ट में बाहर जा रहे हैं. वह एक योगी की तरह हैं, जो अपनी तपस्या पूरे ध्यान से कर रहे हैं."
